Action Taken : hard Reset [no luck]
Solution : Flash Firmware via ADB Fastboot Tool
Tools :Intel USB Driver for Android = https://software.intel.com/en-us/android/articles/intel-usb-driver-for-android-devices
ADB Fastboot Tool = Dev-Host - platform-tools.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
Firmware = ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Driver & Tools - ASUS ZenFone 5 (A502CG)
Procedures with Screenshots :
Extract ADB flash tool and rename folder Adb in local disk C:
Copy Firmware [zip] in Adb folder in local disk C:
Open Firmware zip
Extract the 3 files [fastboot.img,boot.img and recovery.img] in Adb folder in local disk C:
Rename Firmware [zip] to update
Put device to Fastboot/Android Boot (press volume up and power button)
Run Command Prompt [run as admin]
Connect Device to PC with micro usb cable[install drivers if needed]
Type this command :
cd /adb
then hit Enter key
fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img
then hit Enter key
fastboot flash boot boot.img
then hit Enter key
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
then hit Enter key
Now switch phone in Recovery mode [by pressing volume down and power button]
Next will come the green robot that tell "No command"
[Press the volume up and down simultaneously and then release the volume up and still hold the volume down to enter recovey mode]
Select Apply update from ADB and press power button
Type adb sideload update.zip in CMD again
and hit Enter key [wag lang gagalawin ang connection sa PC,Parang nag ha hang kasi an Computer]
Wait till done [and make sure na verifying the update package is not experiencing an error ]
note: kapag merong error flash lang po ng ibang Firmware
select Reboot System Now
Done!!!
