1st put the printer in "Service Mode"
Turn off the printer without unplugging power
Hold down "Resume button" then press "Power button"
Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go
Press Resume Button 5 times while holding down the Power button
Then let BOTH buttons go.
You will see that the Alternate blinking error is gone, this means that the printer is in Service Mode State.
time to reset now
Connect the printer to the PC
Open Service Tool v3400 Resetter
if you don't have this tool you can download below HERE (just search the title of this thread for password)
On Main page click Set Clear Ink Counter
Then click Set Ink Absorber Counter
Click EEPROM menu on Main page
Just wait few minutes
Done
