I. ROOT your device
(pick 1 option)

OPTION 1.
1. Download this and install in your phone:
root master 1.3.6
2. Open your playstore and search "SuperSU", then install
3. Open Root Master, and tap ROOT .. wait for it.. then tap ROOT again.. then another 2 choices will pop-up (both chinese), wait for it to disappear.. then exit the app.
4. Open SuperSU app, (allow root master root permission)
* if the apps says "Install SU Binary?", press yes, then pick stock recovery (or pick cwm/twrp if you have custom recovery)
5. Go to SuperSU settings then tap "Install SuperSU into /System" button.. phone will restart, allow it.
6. Go back to SuperSU, if it has no more pop-up questions like "Install SU Binary?" anymore, exit it
7. Uninstall Root Master and REBOOT

[GUIDE] How to root OMEGA XL

Tagalog na lang para wala nang maraming tanong ok
1. Download rootfiles.zip (DL link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p0y29o9r4az5klc/Rootfiles.zip)
2. Extract
3. Enable usb debugging ni oxl. (settings -> about phone -> tap build number 7 to 10 times hanggang sabihin you are a developer, press back tap developer options and lagyan ng check ang usb debugging)
4. Install pdanet driver sa pc. Kung 64bit windows mo yun 64bit iinstall mo, otherwise choose 32bit
5. Puro next next lang then choose nyo "other" dun sa unit selection na lalabas, pag nabasa nyo installing usb driver iconnect nyo si oxl sa pc.
6. Install vroot sa pc nyo, simple lang puro next next lang wag nyo na basahin yun mga nakasulat kasi chinese
7. Open vroot. connect your oxl sa pc (make sure yun usb debugging is enabled)
8. Click nyo lang yun root na kulay green sa lower right (magrereboot si oxl pagsinde TADAAAA rooted ka na, but wait wag muna magsaya.
9. Copy supersu175.apk sa sd card mo then install mo sa phone syempre.
10. Open mo yun supersu. Pag sinabing ni supersu na you need to update su binaries choose mo normal. then sasabihin nya may ibang superuser app na nakainstall tap mo lang yun try to uninstall.

II. FLASHING CWM Recovery (Clockworkmod)
1. Download this:
OmegaXL-Carliv--recovery.img
2. rename the file to "recovery.img" or just "recovery" if you don't see the .img sa bandang huli ng file..
take note, small caps lahat yan, walang capital letter
3. Copy that file to your SD CARD
4. Download Mobile Uncle Tool and INSTALL ... or pwede din from playstore mo idownload, para latest.. just search in playstore "mobile uncle tool"

5. Open Mobile Uncle Tool app, then go to "Recovery Update"
6. sa ilalim ng "recovery file in SDcard", andun yun recovery.img na nilagay mo, piliin mo yun
7. May pop-up na lalabas, "Are sure flash recovery ! "
8. May lalabas ulit, "Reboot into recovery mode" .. PRESS CANCEL (para matutunan mo ang ituturo sa susunod na steps)
9. Ok na meron ka na CWM Recovery

III. Make a CWM BACKUP
-> After flashing recovery, we need to make a backup
-> Ito magliligtas ng madali sa phone mo pag sakali hindi siya nag boot
1. Turn off the phone (wait for it to vibrate to make sure it is off)
2. Press and Hold Volume Up + Power Button (for about 2-4 seconds), then you will access CWM recovery that we flashed in number II.
3. Scroll by using Volume Buttons, select by using power button
(note: don't press camera key, phone will turn-off)
4. Go to backup and restore, then press backup
5. Wait for the backup to Finish (this may take a while depending on what you've installed)
(note: it will take a while in backing up .android_secure.. relax, it's normal)
6. After backup is done, go back and reboot system
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have ENOUGH SPACE in your SD card in making a backup.. and read everything after it's done, make sure it has no fail in writing.. only COMPLETE ones---> Many have made mistakes in making backup, they thought their backup was functional and a success, then they ask for help, not knowing what was wrong (they did not read the writings after backup was done in CWM)
-> skipping sd-ext in back-up is NORMAL

IMPORTANT: this will NOT work in stock recovery, make sure you have CWM recovery.. recommended is Carliv Recovery CWM v.6.0.4.4
-> Any Custom ROM zip file:
PROCEDURE
Step 1: Download the ROM zip file and copy it on root of the SD card of your device.
Step 2: Disconnect your device from the computer and boot it into CWM recovery mode:
Switch off your device
Press & hold Volume Up + Power button to boot into CWM mode
You are now in CWM recovery more. Use volume keys to navigate up & down and use Power button to select an option.
Step 3 (Optional but important, also used for basic IMEI restoration):
do a backup:
From Recovery screen, select “Backup and Restoreâ€
Now select “Backup†to start the backup process.
WAIT FOR IT TO FINISH ... how long will it take, depends on how big your backup is (how many have you installed)
After backup is done, navigate back to main recovery screen.
Step 4: Now select “wipe data/factory reset†option. When it asks for confirmation, select “Yes†to confirm data wipe process. Then navigate back to main recovery. (you may also want to wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache partition and format system as well, in some roms)
*wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache partition, format system = CLEAN Flash (maximum compatibility)
* YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS if a rom has auto wipe in it (like Scavenger and XIII)
Step 5: Now you will install the ROM zip file that you placed to SD card of your device in step 1. Follow these steps:
Select option “install zip from sdcardâ€
Then select “choose zip from sdcardâ€
Now select the zip file that you want to install (the file that you copied onto the SD card)
When it asks for confirmation, select “Yes†to start installation
The custom ROM installation will now begin. Wait for it till its complete.
Step 6: After installation is complete, navigate back to main recovery screen and select “reboot system nowâ€option to reboot your device.
Your device will now reboot. Please note that first boot may take some time, so be patient and do not interrupt the boot process.
When it boots up, your device will have custom ROM installed.
