(CWM) ClockworkMod Recovery [FAQ + TUT] <hr style="color:#000000; background-color:#000000" size="1"> What is CWM?
CWM or ClockworkMod, abbreviated as CWM, is a popular custom recovery for Android phones and tablets developed by Koushik Dutta (Koush) – a well-known name in the Android dev community. ClockworkMod recovery allows you to perform several advanced recovery, restoration, installation and maintenance operations on your Android device that aren’t possible with the stock recovery, and is one of the most common ways used to gain root access, back up device data, install custom ROMs, kernels, themes & mods, and more.

CWM to our devices (MyPhone A848g Duo)
As of this moment, we only have two types of CWM Recovery these are the BASIC CWM Recovery and the other one is the Carliv Touch CWM Recovery (CRT) which has a touch screen capability.

We have two ways in installing CWM and these are through SPFlash Tool (by using Windows PC) or Mobile Uncle (right through your mobile) But I prefer Mobile Uncle. Its the easiest way to install/flash cwm with no hustle.
Installing CWM through Mobile UNCLE (Root Access is needed. Therefore you must be rooted first)

PROCEDURE:
Download one of the RECOVERY above.
Place it to the root of your SD CARD.
Install Mobile Uncle (Kung la pa na install) / Open Mobile Uncle then hit "ALLOW" when SuperUser/SU prompted. (Mobile Uncle Download Link: http://www.tusfiles.net/wb240uq5pv32 )
Tap Recovery Update (Mag auto search or look up sya sa recovery mo na nilagay sa SD CARD)
Tap mo yung Recovery na na download mo i.e. CRT_Recovery.img . It will ask to flash the recovery, just hit ok/confirm then it will ask again to reboot to recovery, just hit ok/yes para malaman mo na successful pag flash mo ng recovery
Installing CWM through SP Flash Tool
PROCEDURE:
Download one of the Recovery above
Install VCOM Drivers (Link: MT6577 USB VCOM drivers )
Turn off phone and disconnect from PC if it is connected
Open SP Flash Tool v3.1224.01 and run Flash_tool.exe (Link: SP Flash Tool v3.1224.01 )
Click Scatter-loading and choose MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc (Link: MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc )
Check only RECOVERY (WARNING: DO NOT CHECK ANYTHING ELSE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BRICK YOUR PHONE. MAKE SURE ONLY RECOVERY IS CHECKED)
Click RECOVERY and choose the recovery you have been downloaded i.e. MyPhone-A848g-Duo_130309__recovery_130811-221844
Click Download and connect TURNED OFF phone to PC
Wait for it to finish with green circle and congrats may cwm ka na
Note: if step 7 has failed, please make sure that you have installed the correct VCOM driver. If it will still fail, try using a different PC.
