Tanong ko lang sino nakapanood ng segment last Saturday regarding sa mga fake or clone phones? The said programme showed a woman, a barangay volunteer to be exact, who told her tale about buying fakes off a flea market, only to end up finding them a pain in the ass, and at one point, nearly had her unit blow up.
Observation ko lang yung sa problem ng charger and phones themselves, kahit yung mga units from brands like SKK, CKK or whatever, eh they're just as shoddy or poorly made as the fakes in question, yet they apparently get the NTC's seal of approval. Also, on the BOC's statement that they don't appear to be smuggled, but are rather made here, what do you think? I call BS on that one as we all know where these things are made, though some of the units in question do bear the NTC seal, presumably for the same reasons why contraband firecrackers have "MADE IN BULACAN" written on it.
