How To Flash Android Nougat on Huawei P9 Lite Phones

Huawei seems to be pushing out a whole lot of Nougat updates for the P9 Lite variants. The update focuses on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and Huawei’s EMUI 5.
Not all variants of the Huawei P9 Lite currently has received the Nougat update though. So check the list below to see if the guide in this post has one for your variant.

Flashing Instructions

• Download both files (firmware and data) on Computer.
• Create dload folder on sd card
• Extract firmware file and copy update.app to dload folder.
• Switch off phone and hold 3 buttons (Volume up, volume down and power) to start update.
• After successful update rename “update_data_full_VNS-L31_hw_meafnaf.zip” to ” update.zip” and copy it in dload folder, and then repeat 3 button process.
