Plist Edits
(I suggest doing these to lessen the likelihood of conflicts in the file system)
Navigate to:
/system/library/privateframeworks/bulletinboard.framework
Click and open DefaultSectionOrder.plist and delete the following lines:
Save and close, then open and edit DefaultEnabledWeeApps.plist and delete the following line:
Scroll and find com.apple.springboard.plist. Open and delete this line:
===============================================================
Remove Twitter and Nike+iPod from your Settings menu
Navigate to:
\Applications\Preferences.app\
Scroll down and find Settings.plist and open it with the Plist Editor. Scroll till you find this: (for removing Twitter)
Click 'Edit' and remove everything in the blue square and click 'Save'. Then scroll till you find this: (for removing Nike+iPod)
Click 'Edit' again, and remove everything from the white box and click 'Save' and then 'Done'.
Assuming you don't have any errors, re-spring your device and you should no longer have Twitter or Nike+iPod in your settings, no more iAds in any application, and no more Game Center or Stocks on your Springboard. Please note that some developers still code in their own ads from admob or other various ad host. Some applications will still have ads, but none that use the iAd's will.
