Step 1: Root phone manually using TWRP

Flash TWRP on ODIN

Select PDA Button then Browse for the TWRP Recovery file Select it.Tick the Auto reboot.

Step 2: Download SUPERSU Boot your device into Recovery mode.

Step 3: While in TWRP recovery, tap on the “Install Zipâ€￾ option and select the SuperSu.zip file you just downloaded, in order to root Samsung Galaxy On5.

Step 4: Swipe in order to install SuperSu. The whole process should take just a few minutes.

Step 5: Reboot your device.

Step 6: Unlock using SAMSUNG TOOL v26.8. First on REPAIR TAB tick RESET MSL (phone will reboot). Disable T-Mobile Unlock App then do DIRECT UNLOCK 2 to 3 times.
