TaiG has updated their jailbreak of iOS 8.4 to remove the setreuid kernel patch. This will prevent apps from easily running as root.
A new 2.3 version of the jailbreak utility has been released that includes Cydia 1.1.19. You can download it from here.
If you've already jailbroken you can install the updated untether from the Changes tab in Cydia.
