To use dr.fone - Android SIM Unlock tool to unlock the SIM in Android Samsung phone follow this steps:
Step 1. Download the software
The first step is to download the software and then run it on your computer. Then go to more tools section to select the Android SIM Unlock feature.
Step 2. Connect your Samsung phone to the computer
You then connect your smart phone to the computer using a USB cable. This will now give you access to the phone using the computer.
Step 3. Enter the USB Settings Service Mode
To do this make sure that you follow the USB setting interface instructions that appear on your phone. In most cases you will be required dial one of these numbers; ##3424# or *#0808# or #9090# on the Android phone.
Step 4. Start SIM Unlocking on your phone
To start unlocking your SIM you will need to select CDMA MODEM or UART[*] or DM + MODEM + ADB or UART[*] on the phone then click the “Unlock†button on the computer to start SIM unlock of your Android phone. The Unlocking process will take a few minutes so be prepared to wait.
Note: for the latest Samsung phones such as Galaxy 6 and 7 you don’t need to enter the USB settings service mode as once the you have launched the program and connected your phone to the computer the dr.fone Android SIM Unlock software will analyze your phone and start sim unlocking automatically.
