Android updates:

• Added support for SensorV2;
• Added communication bridge between HDBOX Manger and Android App;
• Ability to run plans from HDBOX Manager using the communication bridge, including plans for:
  1. Pin Lock – 4 and 6 digits,
  2. Pattern Lock plans – ability to select number of dots and from simple/advanced/expert patterns,
  3. Backup Pin Lock plans – 4 and 6 digits,

HDBox-Iphone App 3.0E – 4 and 6 digit pin code type auto-detect(171007)

In this update we focused on adding support for iPhone 7 and Iphone 7 plus which are having 4 digit pin codes. We have splited the functionality of first step of setup process into two steps, one step to set the length of the pin ( 4 / 6 digits) and one step to set pin codes type/method ( IOS7, IOS8, IOS11 codes )

List of changes:
– Added: HDBox will correctly determine the type of codes based on IOS version
– Added: Added new step in setup process to confirm / modify desired code type
– Tweak: Moved activation of the iPhone 7 functionality from first step to be after code type selection step
– Tweak: Adjusted progress bar when entering iPhone 7 activation code
– Tweak: Added a more strongly visual indicator if the code was not right
– Tweak: Pin Code length and type are saved based per phone, and HDBOX will remember for last 3 connected iphones / ipads / ipods their last code, code length & code type
– Tweak: Adjusted HDBOX’s text-to-speech engine to speak all 6 digits of the code when a 6 digit code is found.

Added proper detection mechanism of Apple EFI App running app
- when you want to update firmware from Update & About tab now it will detect if the Apple EFI App is running and stop the update process, as you cannot update an running app on hdbox. First you have to close it

Improved functionality when erasing EFI chip
- depending on SPI chip model & usage ( older chips are some slower ) the full erase time were longer than expected. Now waiting for erase completion is flexible and handle all variable casses.

Fixed logic issue at writing larger blocks
- HDBox manager prior to 1.9 version had two issue at writing data:
- When writing large blocks of data, the required was longer than maximum allowed by WINDOWS USB stack, and some data was discarded.
- On windows XP short transfers were also discarded by WINDOWS USB Stack, and we tweaked our transfers to overcome this. ( Yes, we support all windows version, from WindowsXP to Windows 10 )

• (+) Speed selector is active now, High Speed, Medium Speed, Slow Speed, and eXtra Slow Speed available, for the rare cases when the mac give malformed IDs when using Detect SPI at the default high speed,
• (+) Writing Notice added, it will displayed when user either use write full, or write sync options,
• (*) Finalized Reverse Writing Algorithm for Full Write method, it will start from the end of the image and go towards the start, this will prevent SMC trying to boot machine too earlier if HDBOX and SPI adaptor are used in system programing,
• (*) Fixed Write Sync method issue that was making the process to fail when the chip was de-soldered from board and mounted on the SOIC8 clam,
• (+) Minor Fine tunnings & tweaks.

HDBox--APPLE EFI 3.1--Usb Stall detection and auto-recovery

1. Usb Stall Detection

The new and improved method for testing of testing usb connection between HDBOX and the Mac device to see if is still viable and not stalled.
This test is done just before a new code is about to be tested, and for a split second you will see on scren “Checking usb…â€￾ message. The check takes in normal conditions about 200ms ( 0.2 seconds ) and does not increase overall time required for testing codes.
2. Auto USB Reconnect

In case the connection is stalled, or any keys sent from HDBOX to the Mac are not properly sent, HDBOX will detect it, and will fix it automatically. It is a two step process. First, HDBOX simulates an disconnect from USB and waits 2 seconds. Second, HDBOX reconnects on the USB with the mac and ONLY after everything is good again will auto-resume the code testing.
3. HOT FIX: Apple EFI 3.0 – Dev Version

This release also fixes the issue where a few HDBOX received from the server the Apple EFI 3.0 developer version, and the code testing was not actually fully functional. The “Apple EFI 3.0 RCâ€￾ is not affected by this issue.

HDBox Blank Check added to Apple EFI HDB-V1.9.4F

BlankCheck added to Apple EFI/iCloud Unlock

We added blank check after any erase operations. Both Write SPI Full and Write SPI Sync are updated. From right now, after any portion of the chip is erased, HDBOX will do a quick blank check to confirm the erase.Due the nature of SPI chips, if the erase operation was failed (Chip was still protected) HDBOX was detecting that the erase did finish, but HDBOX was not detecting if the erase actually happened and the zone was empty.

* Some tweaks and more checks on the text output. If any issues not fixed, let us know ASAP.

*** Should be last version before our 1.9.5 release, which will bring something new, “first in the worldâ€￾ kindof things!
