The story of CARRIER Changing on : G950U, G955U, N950U, G892U, G960U, G965U, N960U

Flashing T-Mobile phone with AT&T Firmware? THIS IS WRONG.. even if you do it,, phone will stay on T-Mobile configuration..
The carrier of above phones, is NOT stored in CSC anymore (like older models)
There is ONLY 1 Single CSC for all carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc..
Even if you write different USERDATA, the carrier will not change...

There are few methods to change carrier on those models,

Method(1) Via ROOT or ENGBOOT (which is not possible on 2018 series)

1) Write COMBINATION
2) Write CSC
3) Write ENG Boot
4) Send these cmd via ADB shell :
Change to T-Mobile : echo "TMB" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat
Change SPRINT : echo "SPR" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat
Change to XAS : echo "XAS" > /efs/imei/mps_code.dat
5) Enter *#243203855# Select the carrier and install it...
6) Write StockROM

Method(2) Write customized efs.img (efs.ext4.img)

Method(3) Using RIL Cmd in COMBINATION to set the Carrier (this is Professional...)

Method(4) Changeing CARRIER_ID in S-BOOT mode via UART (this is even more Professional...)

NOTICE :
EVEN IF YOU CHANGE CARRIER, Only Android Configuration like Logo, Apps, etc.. will be changed !
SimLock data will NOT change, If you change T-Mobile phone to AT&T, YOU CAN NOT Unlock it as AT&T !!!
