MacBook A1466 grayed out wifi

Troubleshoot muna

1st) check ang wifi module - shorted
2nd) check wifi terminal magkabilang dulo dapat may 3v -sa case ko wala ang 3v sa pin1 nag test for short ako
nakita ko na shorted sa C3521 rail and upon ohms checking sa R5470 around 10ohms lang
so confirmed shorted nga

dahil sira ang wifi module siguro nadamay na din sa board or the other way around.
ang bottom line dalawa ang nabusted
shorted sa C3521 rail upon OHMS Checking at R5470 pero hinde capacitor ang sira dahil U3550 ic ang heating up

Solution: Change the U3550 ic
Problem is fixed (buti may donor board ako)

Wifi Module busted and U3550 burnt pero hinde obvious (gagamit ka talaga ng imahinasyon )


Solution: Change the U3550 ic and pinalitan ko ng known working wifi para malaman kung mag work na.. Viola working na sya
Pero syempre irerepair ko din ang wifi module hinde naman nabigo
instead of mag palit ay ginamit ko ang knowledge to just try it










Wifi is now working

Boss ganto yung issue sakin ngayon. Pero upon checking ko sa C3521 hindi naman sya shorted.

Ang issue pala ng mac na nasakin wala wifi indicator mapa home screen or sa settings .
