Procedure:

Turn the phone on and wait for it to fully start up

Connect the phone to PC with USB cable

Ensure that the phone is not connected in USB mass storage mode

Install Motorola drivers (only if the phone is connected for the first time)

Select "Qualcomm" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the

software "Phone model" dropdown box has to be set to "Autodetect"

Go to "Unlock" tab

Press “Connect Motorola Android phoneâ€￾

Select "Motorola USB Diagnostic Port" in the ports selection tab

Press "Unlock" button

Message "Unlocking phone… Done" indicates that procedure was completed
