procedure on rooting odin and CF-Auto-Root-d2att-d2uc-samsungsghi747
Step 1 – Extract the CF-Auto-Root-d2att-d2uc-samsungsghi747.zip file you downloaded.
Step 2 – Run Odin and turn off your phone. Now put the phone into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down and Home buttons together and then press the Power button until the construction Android robot and a triangle appear on the screen. Press Volume Up to continue.
Step 3 – Connect your phone to the computer using a USB Cable and wait for some time. One of the ID:COM box will change its color with the COM port number as you can see in the image below. If it does, your phone is connected properly. If it doesn’t, try to plug in USB into another USB Port in your computer. Still not working? Re-install the USB Drivers.
Step 4 – In Odin, click on PDA button and select the CF-Auto-Root-d2att-d2uc-samsungsghi747.tar file.
Step 5 – Make sure Auto-Reboot and F.Reset Time options are checked and others unchecked.
Step 6 – Click Start Button. Installation process should begin now and would take a few minutes to complete.
Step 7 – After the installation process completes, wait for your device to reboot and when the device shows Homescreen, remove the USB Cable.
