BOOT LOGO refers to the very first image that is displayed before the bootanimation. In most cases, it is usually the phone company's brand name.
For how to change the bootlogo on an MTK device, see
http://www.antgsm.com/showthread.php?t=136465&highlight=Change+BootLogo

Requirements

* Stock ROM (in .pac format)
* Research Download tool (download @
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4S-Z726VJ2ScmZ5WGt0NWZ6UzQ/view
* Image you wish to use as the bootlogo
* the image must be exactly the same screensize as your device (if it isnt the same screensize, you'll most likely get a blank bootlogo)
* the image must be in bitmap .BMP file format
* the file size of the image must not be larger than the file size of the original image (if it is larger, you'll get an error when trying to flash)

How to Change the BootLogo of an SPD Device

1. Unpack the content of the PAC file using the guide @ http://www.antgsm.com/showthread.php?p=902887#post902887

2. Note that there are two logo files >> the file with .bmp extension is the bootlogo file while the other with .bmp(1) extension is the fastboot logo file

3. Create a new image using your favourite image editing software and save in BMP format. (You can duplicate the file if you wish to also change the fastboot logo as well)

4. Rename the new image you wish to use as bootlogo to the exact filename of the logo file in the unpacked PAC file's folder

5. Copy the new logo files into the unpacked PAC file's folder and overwrite the existing logo files

6. The unpack folder should now contain your new bootlogo file

7. Finally, flash fdl 1&2, BootLogo and Fastboot_Logo using Research download tool
