upgrading e10i to android os done :D

BUILD NUMBER 1.1.A.0.8
FW VERSION:1.6

First Get this Software for E10i (oh! YOU NEED AN SONY ERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE or SEUS)

1. Root Explorer
2. Universal Androot

install all sofware 1st!

then

run universal androot - use only the softroot mode

then go to root explorer

go to this folder /system/

copy to your SDCARD the (TO UPDATE UK BUILDs)build.prop then insert it to your E10i

rename (TO UPDATE UK BUILDs)build.prop to build.prop to overwrite the original build.prop to /system

then turn off your phone and RUN SEUS

choose RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS+REPAIR/UPDATE


after the update TURN ON the Phone


again install all sofware 1st!

then

run universal androot - use only the softroot mode

then go to root explorer

go to this folder /system/

copy to your SDCARD the (NC)build.prop then insert it to your E10i

rename (NC)build.prop to build.prop to overwrite the original build.prop to /system

then turn off your phone and RUN SEUS

then a Message will popup - A NEW UPDATE WAS AVAILABLE the last entry UPGRADE to ANDROID 2.1

just wait until the update completed!!!


NOTE: after the update the phone takes time to get in the main menu or in the User Interface!

NOTE*: This only works in Xperia X10 Mini NOT IN X10 mini PRO(PRO has their own 3 line codes just search in XDA-Developers for the code)


SUCCESS your phone will be upgraded to Android 2.1
