Magsisimula po tayo sa “What” –referring to electronics in general.
Leak, leaked, or leaking.
In electronics, leakage may refer to a gradual loss of energy from a charged capacitor. It is primarily caused by electronic devices attached to the capacitors, such as transistors or diodes, which conduct a small amount of current even when they are turned off. Even though this off current is an order of magnitude less than the current through the device when it is on, the current still slowly discharges the capacitor.
In semiconductor devices, leakage is a quantum phenomenon where mobile charge carriers (electrons or holes) tunnel through an insulating region. Leakage increases exponentially as the thickness of the insulating region decreases.
Leaking – sa madaling salita ay “may tagas”
Ground, or grounded.
In electronics, serve as return paths for signals and power within equipment, and on the signal interconnections between equipment. a single return that acts as a reference for all signals. Power and signal grounds often get connected, usually through the metal case of the equipment.
Usually in electronics, ground is just a name we give to a certain point in the circuit. In a circuit with one battery (with a positive and a negative terminal), we usually refer to the negative terminal as ground.
If the voltage measured between the negative and the positive terminal, voltage drop is 9 volts, this means the ground would be at 4.5 volts. But in this case, we would call the positive terminal as 4.5 volts and the negative terminal -4.5 volts. And the ground terminal we would refer to as 0 volt or neutral.
Short, or short circuit
A short circuit (sometimes abbreviated to short or s/c) is an electrical circuit that allows a current to travel along an unintended path with no or a very low electrical impedance. Bakit sinasabing impedance in general?

Konklusyon:
Leaking – may tagas
Shorted – Zero or almost negligible resistance/impedance
Gabay:
Kaya di maaaring gamitin oh pagpapalit palitin ang leakage sa grounded, grounded into shorted, oh leakage into shorted.
