REFERENCE iPhone 12 Restart and unable to activate face ID [DONE]

Unit: Apple
Model: iPhone 12 A2407
Problem: restart then unable to activate face ID on this iPhone
History: Restart after changing LCD

Diagnosed

Short Recap Muna baka maka kuha kayo ng aral dito

dinala sakin yong unit restart problem. pinag sawaan na rin sa kabila last option na ako kung baga, kaya basic checking muna naka almost 3 hours ako ng diagnose palit dito palit doon pero restart parin . sometimes working yong unit at gumana ng ilang minuto then restart ulit

halus na check ko na posible na sanhi ng problema at normal lahat kaya nahirapan ako

last step na ginawa ko call a friend (customer pala) asking kung ano talaga ang unang sanhi ng problema he just said nag papalit lang sya ng LCD after few months restart na , sabi ko sa kanya bring me your old lcd and he just gave me his old one

[ alam kung walang kinalaman doon pero nag babaka sakali nalang ako for sure]



so steps i did

• read old data from old lcd
• write old data to new lcd
• done

Diagnosed?
the same problem [Restart]

so i ask him again kung ano pa naging problema before that and he just said audio problem sometimes he can hear the other side but sometimes can not

so i check all the audio lines at the resistance and the result was normal
so nag decide ako na mag palit ng speaker set na

after on nag normal yong unit pero nag restart parin pero matagal na compare sa unang basis . at nag ka idia na ako kung bakit nag rerestart
so binalik ko yong original front speaker set to confirm at yon nag rerestart sya pero mas mabilis compare sa pag palit ko ng bagong set na speaker.


so ?

i check the original speaker at flex ng unit at nakita ko na nag malfunction yong orginal na speaker sometimes ok sometimes hindi

at kahit orginal na flex nakalagay unable to activate face ID on this phone nakalagay


Solution?

Remove all sensors from the original FLex then transfer to the new flex

• Sensor
• IFS
• speaker
